I once gave my sister some and in return she was going to give me an entire bag or them, well I'm still waiting for that bag of candy, and like the China, I never forget. So um, what were we doing? Oh yeah, CANDY CORN VAMPIRE!!!

Travis Barker...

That man is amazing. He's been in the hospital since his leer jet crashed in September. He suffered severe burns, so did his friend DJ AM, and 4 people died in the accident. He recently said how grateful he is for all the hospital staff and the doctor's despite rumors he was maltreated. He is truly a tough guy, he has had like 8 surgeries already, and is slated it for more, but while I am concerned over the accident, I do hope this doesn't stop him from playing. He is a great drummer, and his version of that crappy "Soulja Boy" song is the only one I can listen to. I loved blink once he came on board, and when he left the aquabats, so did I. Get better Travis! Hopefully someone gives you a Cadillac for all this trouble, you and your dad's rep proceeds you.

Here is a treat to leave with. The best rap songs ever, thanks to Travis.

Halo 3: Recon

I'm as surprised as anyone about this, well not really everyone kind of had their rumblings for some time about a ODST game in the works. The thing I am surprised about however, is the fact that people are saying that ODST is a chick.

If you don't know what I am talking about with this Halo 3: Recon dealio, then head to bungie.net and check out the new trailer for this new campaign/extension of. The game takes place in the gap on earth between the Prophet of Regret jumping to slipspace in New Mombasa, and the Master Chief's fiery return to earth to start Halo 3. You play as one of the most popular characters in the Halo Canon, an ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper). Or more commonly known as Helljumpers.

It looks like it's more of a stealthy game, as you are not an invincible super soldier, and will be released on a disc and not available as DLC. It will be released in fall of next year and will have multiplayer, forge, and theater mode. Plus the Mythic and yet to be named map packs will be made available before the release too.

This is pretty cool, but the thing that gets me is people think the ODST is a chick? They say it's the reason for this...

Also there is this, Halo 3: Recon in leet speak translates to 'HER' (H3R). Well I don't know about that, it would be a twist and knowing, and at the same time not knowing Bungie, it could be true. Judge for yourself, but Keep It Clean.

The Day Before Conference...

My birthday is never a good time of year. No, my birthday is cool, but the TIME of year it's in sucks monkey turds. It's always on or right before General Conference, so A, I'm always stuck doing Conferencey stuff, B, My friends all are at mission reunions so no doing stuff with them, and C, it's the same weekend as the St. George Marathon and my family loves going to that, so no family stuff either.

Happy Birthday to me.

Demolition derbies are fun.

It seems evertime I blog, the Simpsons is on. Tells you how my life goes huh? I have heartburn, ow, ow, owwww.

I don't know what is spewing from my fingertips to the screen but here goes, uh, um, fuh? I'm bored, I don't want to play games anymore, they hurt my eyes and my head. I haven't been very social lately either, not by choice either, it seems everytime I want to do something, nothing doin' with my friends, boooooooo.

I did see Eagle Eye though, it sucked. At first I was very intrigued, but after a half an hour of pretty cool action, they decided to reveal the big twist. Then they leave you with an hour and a half of trying to resolve everything. It was poorly executed to say the least. Why couldn't they reveal the big twist later and keep the awesome action up til the end. And then at the end everything wraps up in a nice package and then they seal it with happy tape and a corny bow. Thank you writers of the Transformers movie (which I hate now) for exec. producing this pile.

If I have learned anything from video games, it is that artificial intelligences always go rampant and then someone needs to save the day. I'll do it this afternoon.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2008

After almost an entire week of playing Halo 3, I'm taking a break. I realized last time I posted, all I talked about was Halo and Bungie, so I won't talk about it this time.

So last week was Halo 3's anniversary, and two days before that was the anticipated TU2 (Title Update 2). Needless to say I think that the update was very well accepted, that's why I spent all week on Halo. It was fun and cool.

Also my brother comes home in a month. Awesome, Jake is super cool and will be super awesome when he comes home. Did that last sentence make sense? I think I meant that IT will be super awesome. We just have to wait a month, good job Jake. Missionaries are tough. Did you know he weathered a hurricane in Houston? Did you? HUH?!? HUH!!!!!?

Well some stuff happened last week, so the only advice I can give is, get a cat. They are good for companionship, plus are an excellent food source. Okay that's not so true, they are horrible companions. Now dogs, there is an animal that does things. With that I take my leave, or stop typing, whatever.

Happy Bungie Day

I <3 Bungie these days, why? Because of the way they make games with a great story and games with less than three. Today is Bungie Day, It is the day Bungie Studios designates as it's own, for a couple reasons. One is because they like the number 7, two is because last year on 7/7/07 they became and independent game developer, thus fulfilling step six of their seven step plan for world domination. It was quite awesome to hear that last year, because true Bungie fans knew that it meant less limitations on the way Bungie could develop games.

Now in all truthfulness, I don't know what is going to happen today, but I do know that Bungie Day is fast becoming my favorite holiday. We, the Bungie faithful and community, are granted a few great presents on Bungie Day, and today is no different. Today we get a FREE map! A remake of Halo: CE's Chill Out called Cold Storage, plus we get a new theme for our Xbox 360's along with some cool gamerpics.

Granted the day just started, but I am sure that we will get some awesome news about something today. Who knows, maybe some people might even get Recon Armor today. As for me I leave this for you all, Thanks Bungie <3.
