Holy crap...

I just played two games of Halo 3 today, and boy did I suck. Oh man, I haven't played in almost a month, the rust is still in my fingers. Ugh, get it off.

Lold to the bank

Seriously, I've watched the Megaman 3 opening theme with lyrics video so many times I have memorized it, then I see this interview with the bosses, ROFL! It's like listening to old comedians from the 30's and 40's! Oh man, you gotta watch.

And here it comes...

Yeah, I mean Christmas. It's coming. Guess what I just remembered, I didn't renew my Xbox Live account yet, I think it expired yesterday. Oh well, without an Xbox it doesn't seem like a big deal.

The best thing about this time of year is the giving, mainly to others, but to someone else, I am the other. Hooray for all that people give me. And I could stand to give to others too. In fact this Satday, I am headed down to The Road Home shelter in SLC to donate blankets and towels that they desperately need. Then hit up some choir performances at Temple Square. Should be a good night.

We had a nice dinner for my Dad's birthday on last Satday. I think I played the drums on Rockband a little to hard because I was hurting yesterday. Weird how a game makes you hurt. I need to play a new game, like bad. I played the Resident Evil 5 demo last week and loved it. Man I wish I could get paid to write reviews of games, dreamjob! Or start my own game store, It's something I know, as I have worked in one, and it's something I like and can get excited about. How would I start that? Anyone have any ideas? Huh?

Wow no posts in over a month...

Yeah I'm bored. Why? Cause it's Christmas and I'm still in school.
'Well Matt, why not just do something in your spare time?'
Because there is nothing to do jerk.
'Wait Matt, you normally talk about games, so why don't you play some?'
Because my 360 has been in limbo for almost 3 months okay.
'What? Why?'
I had to sell it, thanks for bringing that up.
'Well you have other systems too, don't you?'
Yeah but none of them have the game I want to play. I miss Halo 3.
'I'm sorry, what can I do?'
Well Christmas is coming up...
'Um, what are you getting at?'
...and I don't have a 360...
'So...'
...or any of the accessories I once had...
'Oh I get it now.'
I miss all that worldly stuff so much it starting to hurt.

You know I had like 800 dollars worth of stuff, I think. Let's see, I had the Pro Console, a 120 GB HDD, an extra wireless controller, two battery packs, play and charge, the charge tower, wireless and wired headset, the messenger pad, the wireless adapter on the back. Not to mention the games, Halo 3; legendary edition, Gears of War, Shadowrun, Call of Duty 4, Halo CE, Halo 2, and Ninja Gaiden. I spent so much money on that stuff, I can't believe I miss it. I've never been so bored in my life as I have been without it.

Christmas miracle headed my way? Huh? Maybe? No, I'm totally dreaming here... dreaming in the morning... dreaming all through the day... and the night... and in my dreams... dreams... dreams... ADIDAXB360.

Oh yeah, CANDY CORN VAMPIRE!!!

Travis Barker...

That man is amazing. He's been in the hospital since his leer jet crashed in September. He suffered severe burns, so did his friend DJ AM, and 4 people died in the accident. He recently said how grateful he is for all the hospital staff and the doctor's despite rumors he was maltreated. He is truly a tough guy, he has had like 8 surgeries already, and is slated it for more, but while I am concerned over the accident, I do hope this doesn't stop him from playing. He is a great drummer, and his version of that crappy "Soulja Boy" song is the only one I can listen to. I loved blink once he came on board, and when he left the aquabats, so did I. Get better Travis! Hopefully someone gives you a Cadillac for all this trouble, you and your dad's rep proceeds you.

Here is a treat to leave with. The best rap songs ever, thanks to Travis.

Halo 3: Recon

I'm as surprised as anyone about this, well not really everyone kind of had their rumblings for some time about a ODST game in the works. The thing I am surprised about however, is the fact that people are saying that ODST is a chick.

If you don't know what I am talking about with this Halo 3: Recon dealio, then head to bungie.net and check out the new trailer for this new campaign/extension of. The game takes place in the gap on earth between the Prophet of Regret jumping to slipspace in New Mombasa, and the Master Chief's fiery return to earth to start Halo 3. You play as one of the most popular characters in the Halo Canon, an ODST (Orbital Drop Shock Trooper). Or more commonly known as Helljumpers.

It looks like it's more of a stealthy game, as you are not an invincible super soldier, and will be released on a disc and not available as DLC. It will be released in fall of next year and will have multiplayer, forge, and theater mode. Plus the Mythic and yet to be named map packs will be made available before the release too.

This is pretty cool, but the thing that gets me is people think the ODST is a chick? They say it's the reason for this...

Also there is this, Halo 3: Recon in leet speak translates to 'HER' (H3R). Well I don't know about that, it would be a twist and knowing, and at the same time not knowing Bungie, it could be true. Judge for yourself, but Keep It Clean.
